Spirol International manufactures Dowel bushings which have a hollow design. This configuration permits a fastening screw or bolt to pass through the inside diameter, thereby eliminating the need to drill a separate hole. The Dowel bushings are made of carbon steel with a hardness of HV 420-545, and can be finished as plain/oiled, zinc plated, or phosphated/oiled.
