RPM Mechanical Inc. manufactures center-bonded bushings and square-bonded bushings for applications that require absorption shock, attenuation of noise, reduction of wear, and elimination of lubrication. Depending on model and type, the company's bushings feature a maximum radial static load rating of 300 lbs to 8200 lbs.

Graphalloy manufactures five different types of bushings and bearings, produced in a complete and standard size range. The general purpose bushing is available in FDA accepted grades and works in temperatures up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit, while the high temperature bearing can provide service upwards of 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit and is self-lubricating (i.e. no oil). Thomson offers nine different families of linear bearings and bearing accessories, including Super Ball Bushings, Super Smart Ball Bushings, Precision Steel Ball Bushings, MultiTrac Ball Bushings, and XR Extra Rigid Bearings. The Super Ball Bushing provides 3x the load capacity, or 27x the travel life, of conventional linear bearings due to a wear-resistant, polymer retainer. The Super Smart Ball Bushing is universally self-aligning and offers 2x the load capacity, or 8x the travel life, of the Super Ball Bushing. Of the other bushings, the Precision Steel can self-align up to 3 degrees in all directions, the MultiTrac reduces deflection and eliminates binding and chatter, and the XR Extra Rigid is designed to maximize load carrying capacity while minimizing deflection.

Gates Albert custom-manufactures steel and brass bushings from 0.125" to 1.375" in diameter for the aerospace, automotive, medical, and other industries. Steel bushings can be made to include such features as knurling, cross-drilling, milling, and slotting.

Fleischer Tube Distributors manufactures bushings in a variety of metals, including brass, bronze, copper, steel, stainless steel, 1045 bright carbon steel bar, 4130 low carbon steel alloy, and 8620 medium carbon steel alloy.
