American Cylindrical Roller Bearings are manufactured from AISI bearing steels that are suitable to a maximum temperature of 175C (350F). Cylindrical roller bearings are made with zero, one, two, or more flanges depending on intended use. Snap rings can be used to function as a flange to hold a bearing together, but are not capable of taking thrust.
