Isotech offers AB Air Bearings that feature a stainless steel piston fitted to a borosilicate glass cylinder. This creates an airflow effect around the piston. As little as 5 psi applied to the cylinder produces a stiff cushion of air that supports the piston and prevents it from coming in contact with the cylinder wall. The AB Air Bearing provides virtually unlimited piston life, super-clean operation, requires no lubrication, and nearly eliminates friction through the use of ultra-low friction ball joints used to connect the rod.

Leuven Air Bearings develops and produces linear and rotational air bearings for high speed and high precision applications. Miniature air bearings with 5 mm axial diameter, up to heavy load 1000 mm diameter air bearings, can be produced. They also offer custom designed air bearings and systems based on air bearings.
