Kalsi Engineering, Inc. manufactures thrust bearings that are impact resistant with hydrodynamic lubrication for heavy thrust loads. These patented bearings are built for high impact loads, damage resistance, reduced friction and higher load/speed variations. They operate with friction coefficients from 0.003 to 0.005. Kalsi supplies thrust bearings in various materials such as beryllium copper, steel, spinodally hardened copper-nickel-tin alloy.

Kilian Manufacturing Corporation provides customized thrust bearings with metallic and non metallic materials. The ball thrust bearings supports both axial and light radial loads. The bearings are designed with unitized rollers and balls. Kilian offers a range of 1/4 to 6 inch outer diameter.

Kingsbury hydrodynamic, tilting pad thrust bearings, in flooded lubrication or directed lubrication styles, are used in high speed turbine, generator, compressor and gear drive applications. Kingsbury thrust products run the gamut from flooded lubrication bearings for less demanding applications to advanced LEG (Leading Edge Groove) directed lubrication technology for high speed machinery. Its standards include DIN 616, DIN 711 and DIN 715 and its series include 51100, 51200, 51300 and 51400. Cylindrical roller thrust bearings come in single and double direction styles. NSK Ltd. offers thrust cylindrical and spherical roller bearings. Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are thrust bearings with cylindrical rollers and machined brass cages. Waukesha Bearings Corporation offer three types of thrust bearing. The flat land thrust plate or washer can carry loads in the order of .34MPa (50 psi) and is often used mainly for axial loads. Taper-Land bearings can increase the specific load capacity to 1.72 MPa (250 psi).Tilting pad thrust bearings has the highest loading capacity at about 4 MPa (580 psi); it has steel pads with a symmetrically positioned support pivot. FRB Bearings thrust ball bearings with flat back face are separable and divided into single direction and double direction designs. The single direction thrust ball bearings with flat back face can only be used to carry axial load in one direction and limit the axial displacement in single direction. The double direction thrust ball bearings with flat back face can be used to carry axial loads in both directions and limit the axial displacements in both directions. Nether of them can carry radial loads.
