  American Power Service provides babbitt bearing repair and manufacturing. Applications include motors, pumps, turbines, generators, fans, and all types of rotating equipment. In the re-babbitted process bearings can be re-engineered to design specifications. APS can also manufacture other types of bearings and oil deflectors. Tin and lead based babbitted bearings are available. APS offers in-house testing, including "blue checking to a mandrel" for tilt pad journal bearings.
