  • in Ball Bearings

Boston Gear are manufacturers of unmounted, inch size ball bearings available in radial and thrust designs. Features include double sealed and double shielded grease packed bearings for greater versatility. Applications include flanged, banded, rope or wire, chains or belts, and flange mounted. Other types of bearings offered include plain sleeve, mounted, molded plastic, thrust, rod ends and sphericals, and linear type.

  • in Conveyor Bearings

Boston Gear manufactures mounted bearings used in conveyor applications. Features include Zerk-type grease fittings, take-up frames, an extended inner race with two set screws, or an eccentric locking collar. These conveyor bearings are available in stamped steel, ductile iron, and cast iron housing styles.

  • in Linear Bearings

Boston Gear offers four series of linear bearings, including precision, commercial, open and instrument types. The precision and open series' are available in either stainless steel or steel. They are also available with or without an integral seal for operation in contaminated environments.

  • in Mounted Bearings

Boston Gear's mounted bearing line includes light, medium, and standard duty bearings with stamped steel, ductile iron, or cast iron housings. These products are used in conveyor, floor cleaning machine, commercial printing, packaging machinery, material handling, and storage system applications. The majority are available in 2-bolt to 4-bolt configurations.

  • in Pillow Block Bearings

Boston Gear offers a large selection of mounted pillow blocks and flange units that include washdown duty service using non-metallic inserts in a non-metallic base or eccentric locking collars in ductile iron, stamped steel or cast iron housings. Features include synthetic lip-type seals with steel flingers. Other products offered include ball and linear bearings.

  • in Plastic Bearings

Boston Gear stocks a wide selection of molded plastic bearings in Nylon, Delrin, Nylatron and Teflon. These products require no lubrication, increasing efficiency and reducing maintenance needs. They are resistant to moisture and chemicals and will not contaminate their surroundings.

  • in Rod End Bearings

Boston Gear are producers of rod ends and spherical bearings for applications that use linkages where a bearing accommodates significant misalignment under heavy radial or thrust loads. Rod ends are available in both left and right hand designs, as well as in either male and female threads. Spherical bearings are mounted in a pre-designed housing. Self lubricating liners are available. Other products offered by Boston Gear include molded plastic, ball and thrust bearings.
