  KSM are designers and manufacturers of plastic, custom, AISI 316 stainless radial, and plastic mounted blocks (plastic and 316 stainless insert) ball bearings. Plastic types are available in standard inch and metric sizes. Plastic race bearings can be made in special sizes and types. KSM offers plastic single and double row radial ball bearings. Plastic is five times lighter than steel and special designs are readily made from plastics as opposed to standard materials. KSM has standard cages to accommodate sizes from as small as 1/2 inch outside diameter to as large as 5 inch inner diameter. Their AISI 316 stainless steel radial ball bearings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to 440 stainless steel designs. These are widely used in the food and medical industries. Bearings produced from this type of steel can run in liquids or can run dry at slow speeds.
