  TechStar is a manufacturer of structural bridge bearing systems such as Pot bearings, disk bearings and hysteretic steel  bearings. TechStar does not produce elastomeric bearings but does have the ability to offer this sound rubber bearing from several sources. Their Pot bearings provide the high load capacity required for large structural bridges. TechStar disk bearings offer the same vertical and horizontal load capacities with a lower profile than Pot bearings. Hysteretic steel bearings can be  used when base isolation is not possible with rubber bearings. The yielding of E shaped steel plates absorb energy as they bend.
