Wheeler Industries has been serving the bearings industry for nearly a centruy providing world-class manufacturing, rebabbitting services and design assistance. Recently, Wheeler and General Electric Support Services have become partners in supplying bearings, oil rings and seals to industry. Wheeler's product line includes babbit bearings, bronze products, aluminum products, high speed bearings, lubrication rings and replacement bearings. Wheeler also offers design and molding services as well as rebabbiting.

in Babbitt Bearings
Wheeler Industries designs and manufactures babbitt lined bearings, including journal and thrust bearings. Babbitts, or white metals, excel over other materials when a thin layer of babbitt is cast onto a stronger backing material, such as steel, bronze or cast iron. Babbitted linings provide smooth oil flow. Babbit metals embed debris particles in their surface. Other sleeve bearing materials are also offered. Babbitt-lined bearings are used in large motors, high-speed compressors, turbines and generators. Bronze products, high speed bearings and replacement bearings are also available.
